YES! I'm a swimmer and if you fill goggles with milk (the more fatty the milk the better) and hold it to your eyes it is instant relief. The fat molecules in the milk attach to the nerve endings in your eyes and stop the pain.

How do I stop green pepper burn?

If you mean the burning sensation caused by green chili peppers then drinking milk or yogurt will help best (assuming the burn is in your mouth). The capsaicinoids that cause the burning sensation are washed off the pain receptors by milk much better than by water.

What do you do if your eyes are burning from the fumes of wall paint?

Burning eyes are a sign of a common allergic reaction. You need to reduce the amount of chemicals in the air. First, you need to remove yourself from the area to get fresh air until they stop burning for a few minutes. Put on some goggles and return. Secondly, find a way to better ventilate the area, try opening a window if you can. A fan blowing out the fumes will help also. You can splash water in your eyes, or use saline eye drops to cool the burning.
