a mission statement states exactly what the business is there for eg. coca-cola * To refresh the world - in mind, body and spirit * To inspire moments of optimism - through our brands and actions, and * To create value and make a difference - everywhere we engage a vision statement tells you what they wish to achieve within a cetrain time period say 5-10 years. eg. coca-cola "A Coke within arm's reach of everyone on the planet."
