According to Quantum physics your perception of things-- your thoughts can become reality. The atoms in us and around us are in a constant state of possibility... possibility of what they can become or construct, according to what we're thinking or wanting to happen. If you believe that something bad is going to happen to you, most likely it will happen. Whereas on the other hand, if you're thinking something good is going to happen and you believe it will happen--- then it will. It's what they call the law of attraction. Once you put your thoughts out there, desiring to have a certain material resource, be it money, house, healing or whatever... then the Universe (God), or whatever name you have for it... will go to work and supply the power and resources to bring it into your reality dimension, or your physical plane.
Perception is not reality because it is influenced by individual experiences, beliefs, and biases, which can lead to different interpretations of the same situation. Two people can perceive the same event differently based on their unique perspectives, emotions, and cognitive processes. Reality, on the other hand, is considered to be the objective truth or existence of something regardless of how it is perceived.
When we see or hear something through our senses, and we perceive, we feel something, these perceptions become feelings and they become actions. As they become actions, they become a reality, because thoughts or perception become feelings, feelings become action, action becomes habit, habit forms the character, and the character becomes our destiny, becomes our reality. After all, our reality depends on our actions, and our actions depend on our perceptions.
Only when the perception is not a misperception. You can't always tell.
Author Tom Peters popularized the phrase that "perception is 99% of reality." The idea is that how something is perceived by others is often more important than the actual reality of the situation.
"Perception is reality" is the idea that people's perceptions or beliefs about something are what shape their understanding of reality, even if those perceptions may not align with objective facts. Essentially, our subjective experiences and interpretations influence how we view the world around us, which can then become our reality.
Full wording is "Perception is merely reality filtered through the prism of your soul." It is a quote attributed to Christopher A. Ray.
Pseudo perception refers to false or distorted perceptions that are not based on reality. It can include hallucinations or misinterpretations of sensory input without an external stimulus triggering it.
Unconscious distortions of perception of reality are often referred to as cognitive biases. These biases can impact our decision-making and how we interpret information, leading to errors in judgment or understanding of a situation. Common examples include confirmation bias and availability heuristic.
Reality is a consensus of perception.
Reality exists independently of our perception and prejudice. While our perception and prejudices can influence how we interpret and understand reality, they do not define or create reality itself. Reality is objective and exists regardless of how we perceive it.
Perception of Reality was created on 2001-12-05.
Perception Becomes Reality was created in 2006-06.
Perception has to do with the senses, especially sight and hearing; our perception of reality is our observation of the world or environment in which we live. If that perception is impaired, this means that we do not perceive reality accurately. We may perceive things that are not really there, or fail to perceive things that are there, or perceive things in an altered way. Impaired perception of reality, if it is severe, is a symptom of schizophrenia, although there are other ways in which the perception of reality may become impaired.
