Yes, to some extend, it also changes the deepness of color.
It's better to use a normal liquid cleaner like diluted natural soap.
Alcohol is a solvent: It dissolves stuff. The leaf is porous, full of holes. When the leaf is placed in the alcohol, the alcohol gets into the leafs, and dissolves the pigments in the leaf, probably chlorophyll, which is green. This will turn the alcohol green.
some types of styrofoam are porous but not all are
Concrete is porous and therefore has the ability to absorb from the surface.

Rubbing alcohol is often a good way to take ink off of non-porous surfaces. Unfortunately, paper is absorbent and likely to be ruined by the rubbing alcohol. You cannot use rubbing alcohol to take washable marker off of paper.
Rubbing alcohol as soon as possible. Plexiglas is a bit porous and the die can get into it if left for any length of time.

You could try a bit of rubbing alcohol. It works pretty well on non-porous surfaces. If it has soaked into the surface, you may have to use a mild buffing compound, but this can have a negative effect on the overall surface and if you aren't careful you could go through the paint.
That's tough! You could try using rubbing alcohol, but I can't grantee that it will work.Don't use much. Just a drop or two should do it.***If you hare a porous screen, DO NOT DO THIS!!*****DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!**Things can go wrong during this process. Do this with caution.
