Not by much, (if at all) and this can be a good thing. It does not make you impotent or sterile. (If it did -- there would be no Rastafarians left!) Give those testicles a rest, already! Marijuana is certainly _not_ birth control, please don't let your lover tell you it is.

Many people think that marijuana enhances their sex lives. It is not an aphrodisiac, that is, it does not make people want to have sex. What it does do for some people is make everything more sensual -- it makes food taste better and feelings and emotions more vivid.

Marijuana can affect different people in different ways, so the answer to this question is split--some people have less sex drive, and others will have a significant increase. Some men and women find that smoking marijuana gives them quite a bit more sexual energy than they normally have (as well as an increased ability to relax and enjoy sex, for those who might be anxious about it), and others find that they have less energy, motivation, and desire for sex. Many factors are at work here--personal Biology, the strain of the marijuana, etc.

The definition of libido is:

1) emotional or physical energy that in psychoanalytical theory is derived from primitive biological urges and that is usually goal directed

2) sexual drive.

Therefore, when discussing "libido" we are talking more about urges and desires then biology. Urges that may be created by biological actions such as testosterone levels, but primarily psychological urges.

Smoking marijuana too young will cause young men not to produce hormones they need to reach maturity and produce children. i dont feel this is true It is true I have been trained as a drug educator and trained other teachers in drug education. Because you don't "feel" something to be true doesn't mean it isn't.
