I'm not sure if it has been proven in adults, but there is evidence that it stunts the normal growth of a fetus in the womb if a pregnant woman smokes.
AnswerNo, that's a myth, though as the other poster pointed out it can cause low birth weight in babies.Wiki User

∙ 13y agoIts hard to find a straight answer to this question so I will just give you my personal experience. As A male to female transsexual, I have been on hormones for several months and I had quite smoking before I started, but I did start again. Before starting again I could feel my nipples getting itchy the first sign of growth, but since Ive started again it has gone away. I quite again a few weeks ago and the itchiness has returned and Ive started to notice some changes. I'm not a doctor and I don't know for sure that the smoke was affecting it, but it seems to have had an effect on me. My advice is that you quite smoking just in case it dose have some effect.

Heavy lifting will not stunt your growth. Your growth depends mainly upon eating a good diet. Smoking cigarettes is known to stunt the growth of a child, mainly because it reduces appetite and so leads to an inadequate diet.
Smoking Cigarettes, (not weed) drinking, and some other stuff.. But drugs dont stunt your growth... ;)
