solar energy is why we have life on this planet.
However, you want to know about man capturing the energy, and in that respect, we have been rather bad at it. We can capture it with a window, that works pretty good, we get light and heat.
We also have several types of solar cells. (Some are an environmental disaster to make, but we assume we can get more out of them in the long haul).
With both types of cells, we capture the energy and store it in batteries.
It is actually more efficient to capture all that we can, and send it to the power grid, and bypass batteries, etc. That way we dont incur that loss...and then use another power source when that is not enough.
-- In the late 80's I worked for a company that installed solar cells, and we told companies the cells would last 50 years...ouch...they didnt last 7...the company that sold them to us LIED....however, it's been years since then, and the materials surrounding the cells appear to be better made, etc. I suspect you should buy high quality, and it will last a long time....but if you put a mirror on it, then it takes a beating like nothing in the lab can simulate.
Solar energy exists as long as the sun shines (or exists!).
An average solar panel lasts for about 25 years.
A question about solar energy could be: what is solar energy?: what does solar energy do?:does solar energy do anything for the earth/planet?
The sun is a phenomenal source of energy, but it is not unlimited. It's a fact that the sun will set and die one day. There is the option to extend its life, however, by utilizing solar power and βsolar panels" which convert the energy from the sun into power for your home. Most solar panels would last about 25 years Most solar panels would last about 25 years ---------------------------------------------------------------- from www.solarcells101.com Most solar panels are rated 25 years But its hard to say because most of the first solar panels in the 1980s are still putting out power they will have a power loss over time but free power for this long is very cool David www.solarcells101.com
There are no energy sources that will never run out, but the sun will last a good long time, so any energy derived from solar will last a good long time. This includes direct solar, such as roof mounted water tanks, conversion of solar to electric by solar cells, bio-solar (grow things which convert to energy), wind, water, earth thermal, and similar.
The history of solar energy is as old as humankind in the last centuries.
Solar energy exists as long as the sun shines (or exists!).
Solar energy will continue as long as there is sun.
tell mehow old ur grandpa is now kk bye
Solar energy in an abundant renewable energy source. As long as the sun shines there will be a source of solar energy.
The solar energy and warmth from our Sun, the energy created by our winds and tides.

As long as there is a sun
Yes. In principle, any source of energy can, and eventually will, be exhausted. For practical purposes, some of the so-called "renewable" energies, such as solar and wind energy, will last a long, long time.
