The noise is most likely the idler pulley or the tensioner pulley. The easiest way to tell is to spray a tiny bit of water carefully on each one. When the noise stops you have it. They are not expensive however you may have to watch as some of the after market replacements need some minor modification with a grinder to stop the new pulley from rubbing on the engine block.
