Can you take Ibuprofen with phenoxymethylpenicillin?

It is safe to take a pain reliever and an antibiotic together. Remember to take all of your penicillin even after you feel better. You want to kill off all the bacteria and not leave any hiding out in your body! Take the paracetamol as directed on the package. Taking too much can cause liver damage.

Why does NyQuil contain alcohol?

Nyquil has alcohol along with decongestant to induce relaxation and allow sleep, and note that you must take a full dose to get the proper effect no matter how it tastes. If you're on a coughing, sneezing or vomiting jag, this can feel like a miracle. You still need to sleep when you're sick. However, taking Nyquil too often (about 5 days in a row) may build up a tolerance to the sleep inducing quality, so only take it when you are sick. Obviously, do not drive or use potentially dangerous tools/machinery for several hours when you are alert.

How does Ibuprofen affect driving?

Note: I am not a doctor or medical professional. from what i have read ibuprofen should not affect driving, however, take caution, and if you start to feel dizzy i would stop.

How you know if your Swine Flu is over?

Can 200mg of ibuprofen and 12.8mg Codeine phosphate pills get you high?

That amount of Codeine Phrosphate alone could get you high - you wouldn't even need the Ibuprofen. To get high off of Codeine Proshphate I would recommend taking 60mg at first, then see how you feel in an hour or so, then if needed take another 60mg. But remember that Codeine Prosphate can cause constipation, so good luck the next day :P

Will Mucinex keep you awake?

No, NyQuil Daytime is designed to relieve symptoms of a severe cold during the day, so that you don't suffer too much from them. NyQuil Daytime doesn't contain the alcohol that original NyQuil has in it that puts a person to sleep.

Can you take Ibuprofen with Ramipril?

Ibuprofen and ramipril may interact, and have the potential to cause kidney failure. The likelihood of this occurring however varies greatly from patient to patient, and depends on factors including (but not limited to) what dosage of ramipril they are taking, how well their blood pressure is controlled, their reason for wanting to take ibuprofen, and any other underlying existing medical conditions (especially any affecting the kidney). There is no blanket answer to this question, and it is vitally important to discuss the possible consequences with your doctor or pharmacist before taking ibuprofen, or any other over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medications, while on ramipril.

What are the Side effects in drinking NyQuil while pregnant?

Make sure there is no alcohol in Nyquil!! No amount of alcohol is safe in pregnancy. Medications that are safe in the third trimester of pregnancy may not be safe in the first, so you should check with your doctor. Depending on your symptoms, you should be able to take something that will help you to feel better.
