It depends which technology you're talking about. Advances in medicine for example helps to save lives, while the same advances in military technology helps to design weapons capable of killing many people without close contact.

First off Does technology do more harm than good, is a very individualized and personal question.
That may be, but would you really prefer to live in a world without electricity, without gasoline or diesel engines, without cars, trains, trucks, without TV, movies,telephones or radio, without running water or central heat, without computers, without refrigeration, without a host of medical machinery such as cat scans and dialysis machines ??
