Plate tectonics do not occur on the Moon, and is not known to have ever occurred. The mass of the Moon is probably too small for this to occur.

No, the moon no longer has tectonic plates, its crust is split up into two sections but it is tectonically dead because its crust is too thick and its core is dead.
