Vegeta dies by blowing himself up in an attempt to kill Majin Buu. Before he dies Piccolo tells him that he wont go to the Otherworld like Goku did, because Goku fought for good, and Vegeta fought for evil for so long. Vegeta says in the end "Trunks, Bulma, I do this for you, and yes even you... Kakarot."
No,but he gets to near death by Baby Vegeta once Goku knocked Baby Vegeta to the wall and Trunks,Goten, and Gohan gather to him and Baby Vegeta says he doesn't need their help and blasted them with a ( I'm not fully sure what he uses) full power energy blast and damaged all them to near death, but they still survive.
Many times.... Marcos kills him, Beshoy, modanna all those strong villians they kick ass. Broly sucks compared to them... they need about 5 brollys to kill beshoy
It's most likely the same in Dragon Ball Z, since it's just a filler cut out version. So he probably dies twice, but comes back both times. So technically no, he doesn't officially die.
