As you gradually get older your heart rate goes up due to your heart's age. If you are sick you get a fever, right? And your heart rate can go up?

Its in a way similiar, you're getting older so your heart is aging so your heart rate goes up a notch. Your heart ends up working a bit harder because it is older.

What do older people do when their legs are old? They use a cane! Therefore our heart rate goes up because its old and tiring!

HOPE I HELPED!! If you need to know anything else, feel free to ask!! MUA HA HA!!

Did you know that perhaps in 100-200 years, children won't know what trees are?!?! Its depressing... o-O

Pulse rate tends to decrease with age due to factors like a decrease in overall cardiovascular fitness, changes in hormonal activity, and alterations in the heart muscle.
