It sounds like you had an allergic reaction to the metal. Frequently, the ear will become swollen and red and exhibit signs of being infected when there is an allergic reaction. It could also be an infection. In the case of an infection, remove the earrings and treat it with Neosporin. Your best course of action overall is to see your doctor. They will know better than someone answering a question online. When you've just had your ears pieced, your ears can be quite tender and bleed bit. Youre ear probably just got a bt sore. It is probably not an allergic reaction to the metal because i have had that and your hole starts to go black and it doesn't bleed. It's probably just sore. use some special ear wipes to gently sooth the hole. it will probably get better. if the blood is too heavy and it really does get swollen then go and see your docter
To tell, your ears will be swelling red,hot to touch and you'd earring will be digging in your ear. Also, your ears will be bleeding and puss may come out. If your ears have a bump, don't worry, it's not an infection. It will probably be because that you are allergic to the earrings that you are wearing. If you are still worried, I suggest that you go to a doctor to get your ears checked.
you have a ear infection !
As long you make sure the earring that you're putting in your ear is disinfected to make it less likely that you will get an infection
Remove the earring, clean it and clean the hole in your ear, replace the earring back into your ear. Try and use jewelry cleaner for the earrings and rubbing alcohol or alcohol wipes for your ears. You can use rubbing alcohol to clean your earrings as well if you do not have jewelry cleaner. Do this once a day for a few days and it should heal the infection.
No it does not mean u have an infection it just means that you are alergect to the type of medle they used to perice it or the type of medal on your earring
An earring infection can't be fully seen, as it is often inside the ear, where the earring post goes through. However, the ear lobe often goes red, and swollen, pus and gunk keeps building up and has to be removed resulting in a lot of pain. I've had an earring infection myself and its not nice!
Ice the front and back of the ear lobe to reduce the swelling which will allow the removal of the back of the earring. If this does not enable removal, then the skin may have grown around the backing and removal under local anesthesia may be required by a physician.
Take some chlorpheniramine and apply some aloe vera to the swollen parts of the ear =)
You have an infection. Stop wearing earrings and see a doctor. You may need to be prescribed antibiotics and have the hole sealed with antiseptic and medical tape to prevent further infection.
Since i did my ears myself, my piercing holes were very tender and bleed if I irritated the earring. Anyways, if you take out your earring, it is likely that the hole will close up, so NO, do not take it out. I didn't, and now my ears are all healed and healthy. Just make sure you clean it with salt water [no hydrogen peroxide or alcohol].
Pros: It can be considered a thing of beauty. You can accessorize with different earring styles. This can possibly be permanent. Cons: There could be possible infection, sometimes earring can be torn out of the ear. Choosing a clean and gauranteed earring provider is a must
i have a bubble on the back of my earring if you have this than it is an infection make sure you clean it more ofen because it could crust over the back of your ear.It might be scary at first but if you are to worried than take it out that is probroly the best idea
