Oil that is white indicates water contamination
Possibly a head gasket problem
but could also be caused by a faulty oil cooler.
oil is milkey white or foamey
White smoke. Means water/coolant in your engine. Most likely you blew the head gasket, if you smell oil and see white smoke.
You do realize you can use any oil in your White lawnmower and do not have to purchase White oil. White does not even manufacture oil and their oil is made by someone else. In fact White does even manufacture lawnmowers. Their lawnmowers are made by MTD. Purchase any name brand oil in the correct weight for your mower as recommended by the engine manufacturer. I do highly recommend you use a synthetic oil for any air cooled engine.
white
if the dipstick has white foamy stuff on it
Blown head gasket will do it check your coolant for oil in it and your engine oil for coolant it it...
You have water in your oil. Possibly from condensation. Run the engine only long enough to warm the oil and change it.
Coolant mixed with the oil. the white smoke is an indication you have a blown head gasket. STOP driving this vehicle or you will destroy the engine. Must be repaired ASAP.
White smoke will come out of a vehicle's exhaust system when the engine is cold. This is because of condensation build up in the engine and exhaust. The white smoke should go away after several minutes of idling. If you engine is always blowing white smoke, regardless of temperature, then it might be burning oil. Check the levels of your engine oil and your transmission fluid (if you have an automatic) and have the engine compression checked for blow-by.
A 1984 Dodge 360 blowing oil and white smoke could be a combination of problems. Check the engine oil for water mixed in, and for low engine coolant. Check the pcv valve for a clog. Check engine compression for a possible blown head gasket.
It is located on the back of the engine to the left (close to your dash). It has a white handled that says "engine" on it.
White smoke coming from the engine can mean many different things. One such thing is that your car may have a blown head gasket or that oil is burning in the engine.
