when a liquid evaporates,it gives its latent heat of vaporisation.if no heat is supplied from outside this results in cooling.
sweating
example of evaporating
Melting and evaporation of water. They both absorb energy to increase the internal enthalpy.
Sweating is a major example of evaporation to cool down. That is why people sweat. When the sweat is evaporated off of the body, it causes the person to cool down some.
It causes tornadoes
sweating
example of evaporating
Evaporation causes cooling . The skin cools when evaporation takes place.
Evaporation causes cooling by absorbing phase energy to transform liquid to gas.
Evaporation causes cooling.
when liquid evaporate, it turns into a gas. The evaporation process causes cooling on the surface of where the liqiud originated
Melting and evaporation of water. They both absorb energy to increase the internal enthalpy.
Evaporation causes a cooling effect because it carries heat away from the body. Sweat brings heated blood and water to the surface where evaporation carries it away.

I'm not sure if this is a reference to some feedback, but by itself, evaporation is a cooling process. Latent heat is absorbed when water is evaporated, cooling the surrounding air. It is released again during condensation, so this roughly balances not accounting for horizontal transport of heat.
It is wrapped in wet cloth because the water gets evaporated due to the summer heat ,and it cools down the butter inside it remember that evaporation causes cooling please edit my answer if it is wrong
In a given liquid, the atoms or molecules which are moving the fastest, and hence have the highest temperature, are the ones that are most likely to leave the liquid and evaporate. The atoms or molecules that they leave behind will therefore be cooler. Examples: evaporating water evaporating alcohol evaporating liquid nitrogen evaporating glycerol evaporating liquid helium evaporating acetone.
