There are many possibilities, but one common reason for headaches is dehydration, which can happen while you are asleep. When you wake up, drink a couple of glasses of water, and see if that helps. If so, you will know that is the reason.

∙ 12y agoA headache specialist is the best doctor to see for a headache disorder. There are about 300 of them in the United States. If there is any question, you should see a doctor :)
