Cell phones should not be allowed in theaters. For instance, last night, I went to see a movie with my friends. It was a suspense movie. At the most exciting moment, the actors didn't speak and only quiet music was playing. It was very exciting, so my friend and I leaned forward listening carefully. Suddenly, we heard a loud sound-a silly musical melody. The man behind us had a cell phone, and he was receiving a call. In addition, he decided to answer it, so he spoke out loud to his friend. Because it was very distracting, my friend and I felt annoyed. Therefore, we feel that people must turn off their cell phones when they watch a movie, or not bring them at all.

An evaluation paragraph is used to evaluate a person, place, thing, or idea. Many times, evaluation paragraphs use terms like 'good/bad,' 'correct/incorrect,' 'wrong/right,' and 'important/nonimportant' to describe the person, place, or thing. After a description and a judgment is made, the writer can 'suggest,' 'recommend,' 'advise,' or 'argue' options and other ideas to the audience. An example of this would be: 'Texting while driving is wrong to do. It causes accidents and is generally a distraction. I would recommend that while driving, a person uses a hands-free device to talk on the phone if necessary, and otherwise leaves the phone where they will not be distracted by it.'

Once upon a time, I was in the book store waiting for the clerk to ring up my purchases. As I stood waiting, I spotted a small display of books on the counter; the title was "1001 Senior Moments". I smiled and said to the clerk, "Well, I don't need to buy that book, I live it every day." She stopped, looked directly in my eyes and said, "Oh, you bought it, you just don't remember."
