Basically, a liquid to liquid solution is a solution with two liquids in it. such as Sprite and Minute Maid Lemonade mixed together or Orange Gatorade with Yellow Powerade mixed together.
A solution is a solid disolved in a liquid. It is still a liquid. A suspention is the solid mixed, but refusing to disolve or settle. Happens in the kitchen all the time. Gravy is flour suspended in drippings until the heat dissolves it. At that point the suspention cookes into a solution. Cooking the gravy more will reduce the solution and make it thicker. Maybe even enough to be a solid at a cooler temperature.
Dissolve salt (NaCl) in water (H2O) and you get a liquid solution of salt.
Rubbing alcohol is relatively a liquid-liquid solution. There's water and some kind of liquid alcohol compound in it.
Examples: wines, strong alcoholic drinks, beers, etc.
lemonade and mango juice
beer
A solution of phenol red is a liquid.
The solute of a solution is a solid; the solvant is the liquid.
The scientific name for a liquid that has a solid in it is solution.
Any alcoholic drink (ethanol and water) is a good example.
Solubility is the ability of a substance (solute) to make a solution with another substance (solvent). The solvent is usually a liquid, and the solute can be a solid, liquid, or gas. The solute is usually dissolved into the liquid to create the solution.
Soda is an example of a liquid-gas solution, as it contains carbon dioxide (a gas) dissolved in water (a liquid).
gold in Mercury liquid
Vinegar is a solution of acetic acid in water.
Soda is an example of a liquid-gas solution, as it contains carbon dioxide (a gas) dissolved in water (a liquid).
Ice is a solid and water is a liquid, so an ice cube floating in a glass of water would be a solid in a liquid solution. Lava is molten rock, which would also be a solid in liquid solution.
It is a solid.
a liquid could be food coloring and a gas could be vapor
Water particles mixed with other liquid particles. Example: water and oil or water and cordial.
1. gaseous solution- includes gases or vapors dissolved in one another.two or more gases can form a solution. Air is an example of a gaseous solution. When dry is made up of oxygen gas dissolved in nitrogen gas.2. liquid solution-contain a liquid solvent in which gas, liquid, or solid is dissolved. Water is the most common liquid solution. Many things can be dissolved in it. Table salt is an example of a solid dissolved in a liquid. A liquid and a gas can also be dissolved in a liquid solution.3. A solid solution-is a mixture of solids spread equally throughout one another. Metal is an example of a solid solution at room temperature.different kinds of solution
A solution is a mixture of a liquid and a liquid, or liquid and dissolved solids.
A solution is a mixture of a liquid and a liquid, or liquid and dissolved solids.
1. Gas-liquid solution: soda, a water solution of carbon dioxide. 2. The expression gas-gas solution is not in use; more correct is gas mixture.
