Newton's first law of motion consists of 2 parts:

The first part tells us that a body does not change its state of rest unless an unbalanced force is applied on it.FOR EXAMPLE:

A book lying on the desk remains at rest until someone lifts it.

The second part tells us that a body does not change its state of motion unless we apply a certain force on it to stop motion. FOR EXAMPLE

A ball is thrown on the ground comes to rest after covering some distance.it is because of following forces:

1. FORCE OF GRAVITY

2. FORCE OF FRICTION

3. AIR FRICTION

If these forces are eliminated then according to the NEWTON's FIRST LAW OF MOTION a body will remain in motion.

A falling object in the atmosphere would come to a constant velocity (terminal velocity) when the force of gravity balance with the friction and no net resultant force.

Example: If you throw a baseball in space it will continue to travel until acted upon by an outside force.

yes. the 1st law of motion states that's an object will remain at rest or constant motion unless an external unbalanced force acts on it.

What is related to force?

mass, acceleration, motion - speed and velocity, newtons 1st law force = mass * acceleration speed requires force to change force acts on velocity to change it newtons 1st law describes force
