Russia's civil war occured after the communists took over and ended Russia involvment in World War I. The royalist who supported the czar tried to overthrow the communists. Of course, they failed and strengthened the communist hold, at the costs of many lives on top of the World War I death toll.

∙ 12y agoTsar Nicolas the Second was having all the luxury while a lot of the others were in poverty. People who were impoverished protested against the tsar and ordered his men to shoot. Most didn't. 91 people died that day. The outcome was that the tsar was executed and communism was born beacuse of Karl Marx and it flourished throughout Russia and the Soviet Union was born.
