Well what you have to do is... 1. if you have one all ready then you need to get him/her a partner then slowly introduce them to each other till they are friendly then you have to wait... and wait and wait and wait cause you cant really make them can you! 2. if you all ready have two in the same cage together (different genders) then i guess you just wait. Hint:rainbow lorikeets are not very good parents the first time... or come to think of it any time!!!

Rainbow lorikeets have tiny hair-like brushes on the tip of their tongue. These hairs help the bird to soak up nectar and pollen from inside flowers, which is what they mostly feed on (although not exclusively).

They can become very affectionate once it is used to the family members. Although there is the need for a Licence in order to obtain one of those beautiful Lorikeets. From personal experience, Rainbow Lorikeets are a joy to have in the home. They would always greet you whenever they see you and they are forever loyal. They are noisy at times, but not too noisy to make the neighbours complain every now and then.
