Two possible main answers, the first with several variations.
1) If the question is "The factors of 6 + 30 = "
a) The factors of 6 are 6, 3, 2, 1.....then 6 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 30 = 42
b) Or it may mean, sum numbers that are factors of both 6 & 30.
Then we have, 6 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 12
c) Or it may mean, sum the numbers that are factors of (6 + 30) that is, of 36.
then we have 36 + 18 + 12 + 9 + 6 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 91.
2) Does it mean Factorial 6 + 30?
Factorial 6 (written 6!) = 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 720
Which gives, 6! + 30 = 720 + 30 = 750.
30+12x = 6(5+2x)
5 and 6 is the factor pair for 5 x 6 equals 30
If it isn't a trick question it is 736. 700 plus 30 equals 730 and then plus 6 equals 736.
First, factor out the k. So, k(4+2) = 30 or 6k = 30 Then divide by 6. k = 30/6 = 5 So k = 5.
5 x 6 = 30, 30 + 8 =...
41
30.
20 + 6 - 56 = -30
5(6 + y)
(z - 6)(z - 6)
30 and 41
b+30=6 subtract 30 from both sides b+30-30=6-30 b=-24
