Macromedia Flash is a Multimedia program created by Macromedia. You can create Animations, Edit Videos, Create Flash games for computer and cell phones and save them as multiple forms like .exe or .swf (shockwave Flash) which plays things made in flash. Not quite. There's no tools that combines both the ability to create .swf files and the scripting engine in a nice IDE. KToon can create Flash animations and export them as Flash animations, but it lacks any real scripting support. haXe can be used to create Flash content as well, but it uses a different scripting format from ActionScript. There are some other tools available that I'll list below. If you have a copy of Macromedia Flash pro 8 already, however, it runs well under Wine.
Here are some multimedia developing tools that I found: -Adobe Photoshop -Adobe ImageReady -Adobe Illustrator -Adobe PageMaker -Adobe Acrobat -Macromedia Flash -Macromedia Generator -Macromedia Director -Macromedia Fireworks -Macromedia Dreamweaver

Panels in flash provide the required information and tools that you may need while working on movies.
The ClassTools website offers a way for individuals to create interactive flash tools for a wide variety of purposes. There are also template resources for things such as Venn diagrams and Citation generators.
