Probably the auxilliary input to the radio/CD.

I've not actually seen one, but having trawled the forums to find out how to connect my MP3 player to the standard fit 6000CD in my Focus 2005, many people say the aux in connector is in the glove box. It should be on a recessed flat, to the right of another small panel. This other small panel is either a blank, with slots around it as if to allow a punch-out or if fitted out, might be the keyswitch to disable the passenger side airbag.

I think the aux in connector will be a 3.5mm stereo jack socket.

My Focus Ghia 2005 does not have either of these things in the glove box, but there are connectors taped up in the loom behind the glove box liner. The 4-way connector is definitely the aux input connector. Wire colours are black=common, white/grey=left audio, white/violet=right audio. (I might have L-R mixed up.)
