The switch is located on the top left side of the column just under the dash. It is operated by a rod that runs down to the switch from the lever. You must remove any lower covers there is normally one, but I do not know if you have a conversion van where as something else may be mounted. Under the cover there will be two studs with nuts, one on each side. There is also a light cable that goes from a clip to your shift indicator. Mark the location of the clip and remove by pushing it back and off. Do not lower the column until you have located and dis connected this cable, or you will snap off the plastic sheave the cable runs on, and the indicator will not work again. Now lower the column by removing the nuts. You should be able to see the switch now, it is of a round design. Unplug the wiring harness from the switch. Remove the screws that mount it (7mm I think). Install new switch and adjust by operating the lever making sure switch works as it should, if not slide it on the mounting screw slots until it functions properly. Now just put it back together. Need more help contact me through my board and I will try to help.
