There is a store called Papaya that has really inexpensive clothes and I've found some cute dresses there before and i think some of them would totally work for homecoming. I'm not sure if you have a Papaya near you but if not you could see the related link below, it brings you to their website homepage. when i was looking most the dresses were under $20 and i didnt see any for over $30
my homecoming is this Saturday (6 days away!!) i looked a number of places for my dress and settled on a $140 dress from Dillards. places that i looked included nordstroms, dillards, jc pennys (did not have that many), jessica mcklintock, ect. the style of ur dress really is dependent on where you go for it. for example, dresses from jessica mcklintock are half the length and twice the price (=

Good Times - 1974 Florida's Homecoming Part 1 6-1 was released on: USA: 16 September 1978
I am reading homecoming in school currently but so far the book is pretty good it is sad how parents leave their children like that (btw my name is cynthia!)
You have to take a deep breath and get over it. It's hard when someone says no to you, but staying upset about it or getting angry isn't go to do anything.Move on with your life and ask someone else to homecoming. Good luck!

I would shop around and compare prices. These days, most large stores (JC Penny, Macy's, Dillard's, Sears) offer homecoming dresses, so it would be easy to get an idea. If getting a dress from a store like that, they usually don't negotiate, but, usually have really good sales. Discount stores, such as TJ Maxx will sometimes lower the price of their items if there is a missing button or a small tear.
