If you mean individual stems throughout the season then yes, you can trim back daylilies after they flower. Once all the buds on the stem have flowered remove the whole stem, but not the leaves.
An aloe plant is mostly water and cold weather will cause cellular damage on the leaves if below 45 degrees or frost. When the weather drops to this temperature, return the plants indoors and in the spring, back outside again.
The tree goes into hibernation. Only deciduous trees lose their leaves because they have no resin (natural antifreeze) in them, so if the tree kept its leaves when the weather turned cold and frosty, frost could damage the stems and cells of the tree. The leaves also act as fertiliser, and as they drop underneath the trees they are broken down by detritivores and the tree can then absorb all the energy and minerals back into itself, to make leaves for the new year.
the plants are being over-watered and the root system is showing signs of damage - resulting in reverse osmosis and the loss of nutrients from the bottom leaves of the plant back into the soil
Never
You have to travel through frost back mountains to get their
Frost heaves occur when water in the soil freezes and expands, causing the ground to push upwards. This expansion creates pressure, which can lift layers of soil and pavement above it. When the ice melts, the ground settles back down, leading to uneven surfaces and potential damage to roads and structures.
