a fish usually lives at the bottom of a pond, eats poop, and uses the plant on the pond floor to hide from enimies. it also lives in the White House eating cookies all day. that is not true a fish does not eat poop and dosen't live in the white house

Warm water (76-82 F) with plenty of open surface area and some plants to explore/rest on. They can live in fairly shallow water because they breathe air directly from the surface and not through the water, but contrary to what you see in stores they come from wide open flooded fields, not tiny puddles. That only happens when it's the dry season and many die, so don't keep it in anything less than a 1 gal. tank at least.

It is mostly found mostly in weedy rivers. I just caught one the other day. They LOVE prawns.
