Saturn automobiles were always made in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The last Saturn rolled off the assembly line in 2009. Saturn cars are no longer produced. GM reintroduced the Saturn VUE as a rebadged Chevrolet Captiva in 2011.

Actually, the Saturn experiment has already been closed. The Saturn manufacturing facility is no longer in operation. When GM started the Saturn project it was always considered to be an experiment, with management, engineering and labor all providing input into the process. Rather than continue with the brand, GM has decided to terminate the project in an attempt to save money during the latest economic downturn. Saturn owners were arguably among the most loyal group of vehicle owners in the country. Rather than build on that brand loyalty, GM closed Saturn and just hoped that those customers would buy a Chevrolet. Because of this action, many of the former Saturn owners have vowed to never own another GM vehicle.
