Was the Zodiac Killer ever arrested?

No he would probably be dead by now but investigators think that might have found someone. Who admitted to his friends several times that hes the zodiac killer. However he did die so no one is for sure.

The Zodiac killer was never brought forward or identified. More than one person has come forward claiming to have identified the Zodiac killer being a member of their family but the proves submited were not good to prove anything.

No, the Zodiac Killer is one of a long list of serial killers never to be apprehended. He may still be out there, he may be dead, he may even be killing people in other cities or countries. Nobody knows for sure.

Robert Graysmith's bestseller put forth a very good case against Arthur Leigh Allen of Vallejo, California, a convicted child molester, who denied being the Zodiac until the day he died in 1992. Graysmith has been shown to be wrong about many of his "facts." Allen was the prime suspect of many because of the overwhelming amount of circumstantial evidence against him. But Allen's fingerprints, palm print and handwriting did not match any evidence in the case. In 2002 Allen's DNA was tested and it did not match the partial DNA fingerprint taken from bona fide Zodiac letters.

There have been several people that have come forward claiming proof that a relative is the killer but so far nothing has solved the case. There have actually been over 2,500 suspects but not one has ever been arrested.

No, the case is still considered unsolved and open.
Unfortunately Zodiac (the original) was never caught. It needs to be noted that police were making plans to arrest Arthur Leigh Allen, who at the time was locked up on child molestation charges. Allen died before he could be arrested for any of the Zodiac murders.
