How do I know if he’s the one or if I deserve better I think he takes me for granted?
We’ve been dating for about 3 years, and moved in together 2 years ago. We also own a business together and are together 24/7. We have fun day to day and get along so well , and enjoy the same hobbies. One thing I’ve noticed the past year is that he seems to take me for granted. He expects me to always cook for him, and do most things even when I’m not feeling well. He will chime in here and there and help with dishes and cooking rarely. He never plans dates, I always have to ask him to spend time with me otherwise he prioritizes his video games every night when we get home. I understand we see eachother at work all day so he probably needs a break which I also like my me time. But I feel like romantically he doesn’t try. He used to joke saying that guys should get their girls flowers often, but then only has 2 times in our relationship. I’m worried that because we own a business together he thinks he already has me and doesn’t have to try (we’re not married yet). I’ve told him this concern before and he’ll try for a week and then back to his normal gaming routine… I question if I’m with the right person, if I deserve better, someone who makes me feel wanted and special. It’s hard to know because we have so much fun when we do go out… usually fishing or hunting.. I don’t know what to do and need insight. Even at work I run everything and have to get on him to put in effort as it’s his business as well. I honestly feel like he’s stuck in childish ways and doesn’t know when to grow up. I’m 25 and he’s 29, we talk about marriage and kids but I need to know he’s on the same level as me. He always says he’s going to try harder in our relationship and at work but then doesn’t…
The best way to figure out if he's the one or if you deserve better is to take a step back and evaluate your relationship. Ask yourself what it is about him that makes you happy. Is it the fact that you have so much fun when you go out? The fact that you get along so well? Or do your feelings for him go deeper than just those surface level things?
Think about what it is you need in a partner and if he fits the bill. Do you need someone who will make you feel wanted and special? Do you need someone who is willing to invest their time and effort into the relationship and into your business? Do you need someone who is willing to grow and mature with you?
If you answer yes to these questions, then it’s worth giving him another chance to prove himself. Talk to him openly and honestly about your concerns and let him know what you need from him in order for the relationship to work. Give him specific examples of how you need him to show up differently and then give him the chance to do so.
On the other hand, if you don't feel like he can provide what you need, then it may be time to move on and find someone who can. Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide what is best for you and your relationship.

Another way of putting it is "Do you think you deserve better than what u'r getting/doing now?" Basically it could mean two things... U think u deserve better, so ur not happy with what u have OR it could just mean you want better... kinda a trick question. I took it as the first one(Deserve better/not happy with what u have) Sooo i put disagree lol since I'm totally happy w everything going on and whatnot.
