LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE ORGANISM ON THIS EARTH. The ecosystem is such a delicate balance of relationships and more diverse organisms adds to this ecosystem. More diverse organisms means more food for other organisms, different food sources, and other organisms to have competition with for food sources. It also helps to advance the evolution of the other organisms because they are constantly changing to adapt to the environment around them, which includes the other organisms around them. They change by becoming more efficient at survival because of the competition for survival (if they have less to compete with they have no reason to really change or improve). They also change by helping one another too so that they can develop symbiotic relationships with one another (this is found most commonly in the ocean, which is extremely diverse, an example being the pistol shrimp and goby fish or anemone and clownfish).

It all just makes the web of life bigger, more intertwined, and that much more interesting.
