Dutch agriculture is characterized by the growth of plants and crops in greenhouses. In greenhouses all aspects of growth can be artificially controlled, including the artificial imposition of climatic conditions and artificial growth patterns (i.e. hydroponics) and even the mechanical automation of farming.

What is true about technology?

One thing that is true about technology, is the fact that it is growing at a rate that is also constantly growing.


What is meant by egg based technology for making vaccines?

Vaccine is made by growing germs then purifying them for injection. "Egg based technology" means they grow them in eggs.


Dis advantages of technology?

The government can become corrupt or we can eliminated by our own technology, it can limit our livelyhoods (unable to survive in a forest if we got lost, if there are any left that is), we, ourselves can become obsessed with technology and it can destroy the meaning of life. Pollution is growing problem due to technology as well, it greatly affects our environment, on the ground, in the water, and in the air, life is fighting a battle. The industries are getting larger and larger by the day, and all the more corrupt. Advertising for alcohol and cigarettes cancel out the ads against these drugs causing further health, emotional, and mental problems. Fast food tech and media technology leads people to obesity. Technology, handled in the right conditions and hands can enhace the world around us helping to lead us to a better more advanced meaning of life, but now I find these prolems growing by the day . . .


Is cotton environmentally friendly?

no because growing it uses numerous pesticides which can pollute rivers and cause eutrophication. cotton agriculture also uses a lot of water.
