You should probably start with a BA in anthropology first, then apply to a graduate school that has an anthropology PhD program. If you do your BA at a school that has an anthropology PhD program, you probably have a better chance at being accepted to the graduate program, because you will know a few of the professors. Either way, a PhD program takes 8 years to finish.
