After the female is impressively seduced, the female penguin lets the male penguin get behind him, the male puts its wings around her, and then they start mating standing up.

Penguins reproduce through internal fertilization, where the male transfers sperm to the female. The female lays one or two eggs, which are incubated by both parents. The egg hatches after about 1-2 months, and the parents take turns caring for and feeding the chick until it is ready to fend for itself.
