A home pregnancy test is very accurate when the test is performed 3-4 weeks after intercourse. A better method of testing would be via the quantitative beta hcg pregnancy blood test which is 100% accurate and can be performed as early as 5-7 days after intercourse.
The home-pregnancy test these days are very accurate as to one your physician would use my best two recommendations would be an E.P.T. or First response. the ones at the dollar store seem to work good if you are further along so not good for an early detection. the two test run not too expensive about 12 to 14 dollars and sometimes places sell them way less just depends where you go.
