Edgar Allan Poe died in October 7, 1849 at the age of 40.

He was found on the street in torn clothes that weren't even his. Four days later he woke up in the hospital and said "Lord help my poor soul" then he died. Some say he died from rabies or alcohol sickness, but no one really knows how he died.
