How are braces put on?

Its Actually Easy... I just got my braces taken off and Its the best feeling ever! 1-They tell you to bite on a small piece of cotton bud with your front teeth. 2- They take dentist glue and put little amounts on your teeth. 3. They put the brackets on, and dry the glue, with a laser. 4. when all of the brackets are put on, they place a wire in between the brackets. 5. They will put coloured bands on your brackets to keep the wire in place. 6. You have braces lol. I hope that was helpful :)

There are many steps to getting braces. First: If you need to you might have to get teeth extracted. It's not fun. I had it done. Second: You will go to your orthodontist. They will polish your teeth just like a regular cleaning. Then they will prop your mouth open. They will glue the brackets on one by one. Then they will put bands around 4 teeth. The Molars. After that you may pick colors for your braces if you'd like. Then they tie them up with the wire. That's all! It's not that bad.

this is how they put mine on they first make you brush your teeth to get all the crud off then they but this stuff to file your teeth down with on there then they put some glue on the tooth and then the ortho will place the bracket on each tooth then after the glue is dry they will place your wire in and tighten it up so they will start working

heyz i had braces 4 days ago and the dentist first cleaned my teeth then she put glue on a tooth then she put the brace on the glue n used this disgusting spray thing n these tubes to suck saliva then she used this heater machine .....once this had been done to all the teeth she clipped the wire into the brace and put brackets on top of them trust me afterwards it is reallypainful but ur alrite after a few days ......
