Rocks can be formed by particles of pebbles, sand or shells creating sedimentary rocks. When molten rock cools and hardens it will form igneous rocks. When there is pressure and intense heat on rocks, they form metamorphic rocks.

Igneous rocks are formed by the cooling and crystalizing of lava or magma. Sedimentary rocks are formed when other rocks are weathered and eroded to sediment like sand, then they are compressed from pressure and cemented (water and other chemicals mix with the sediment to form a sticky paste that hardens after a while) and voila, you have a sedimentary rock. Metamorphic rocks form when igneous, sedimentary, or even other metamorphic rock are put under an enourmous amount of pressure and heat.

Why the rocks found near a volcano are different from the rocks found in the beach?

Rocks found by volcanoes are formed from lava and magma inside and outside the volcano. Rocks found along beaches are formed all kinds of different ways. It all depends on how the rock is formed

Can metamorphic rocks be formed from other metamorphic rocks?

Yes, in a sense. Rocks can be metamorphosed multiple times, by different geologic events.

What are the three formation of minerals?

There are three different kinds of rocks, depending on how they were formed. Igneous rocks formed when melted rock cooled and hardened. Sedimentary rocks formed in layers from bits of older rocks and parts of animals or plants. These collect in low areas or under water and harden into rocks. Metamorphic rocks formed when either sedimentary, igneous, or earlier formed metamorphic rocks were put under pressure and heat deep in the earth's crust.

How are clastic limestone and fossiliferous limestone deposition different?

Clastic rocks are sedimentary rocks formed from pre-existing fragments of minerals. Fossiliferous rocks are formed in the same way, except that they contain fossils.
