Although I don't fully know the answer nor am I fully qualified to answer as I am just a highschool student, there are many examples of greek terms used presently. Off the top of my head I already know of a few mythological referances. For example, the story of Narcissism; a being so engrossed with his own reflection, that the term Narcissistic was coined to describe someone who is in other words full of themselves.
