Honey bees help us get honey and wax while pollening the plants. Silkworms produce silk. Spiders help us get rid of flies that carry diseases. Earth worms andDung beetles help loosen the soil and give nutrients to our plants. Yeah.. that's pretty much all i know

Just as a minimalist answer:
Insects help pollinate plants (thus assisting an extensive amount to plant reproduction and growth, i.e. more oxygen), distribute and break down much of our waste/trash (ants are great and simple examples of this), in some countries insects are used as food on daily basis (fun fact: only 5% of insects are harmful, though considering how large the insect population is I would not personally consume any unknown insect before putting in some research effort), many insects are parasites of other pest insects (ex there are tiny wasp that prey on ants, caterpillars, other wasp, etc).

Hope that helps.

How do insects help pollination?

Insects can help the environement A LOT!Many of the insects are thought to be pests by humans. But there are hundreds of insects that help the human race in various ways. Insects are necessary to pollinate flowering plants, without the active help of insects thousands of plant varieties would have become extinct. Insects produce substances such as wax, honey and silk which are then used by humans in a large number of applications and for direct consumption. Some insects act as scavengers, thus helping to maintain the ecological balance on the earth. The ecosystem heavily relies on insects for decomposition, nutrient and energy recycling, soil aeration, and pollination. Insects are helpful as saprophytes collecting and recycling garbage wastes. Dead organisms are broken down by insects and this assists in the formation of new life.
