for what? usually when you say the two, length is said first
It doesn't matter but Length * Width * Height is usually how people say it :D
Length is usually 10 metres and Width is usually 8.
You usually swim the length not the width.
If that's for a rectangle, the larger of the two dimensions is usually called the "length", the other one, "width".
Length is how long or tall something is and width is how wide it is. It's sometimes fairly arbitrary which direction is the length and which is the width. But usually it's more natural to let the length be the longer direction. It's also common to talk about "width and height" instead of "length and width." In this case, height is usually vertical, and width horizontal.
length
two-dimensional artworkArtwork that has a length and width is usually a painting, print or sculpture.
A rectangle has only two dimensions, for example, length and width. The longest side is usually called the length, the other side, the width.
The length is the linear measurement of one side of the rectangle (usually the longest) and the width is the linear measurement of the other side of the rectangle (usually the shortest). In a square, both the length and the width would be the same.
The sides, doesn't matter but the length is usually the bottom and top line, while the width is usually the left and right sides.
The longer side is usually called "length".
