Some are bigger, some are smaller (Jupiter, Mercury). Some are hotter, some are colder (Mercury, Neptune). Some go quicker round the Sun, some go slower (Mercury, Neptune). Some rotate quicker, some go slower (Jupiter, Venus).

The sun is a star, the moon is a satellite and the Earth is a planet. A similarity is the shape, as they are all roughly spherical. Also, they all orbit a larger object, with the Moon orbiting the Earth, with the Earth orbiting the Sun and the Sun orbiting the centre of the galaxy.
