-The alveoli give the lungs a large surface area for absorbing oxygen and excreting carbon dioxide.

-Alveoli have thin walls so that gasses diffuse easily across them.

-The cappliaries which have thin walls make it so that substances can easily pass into and out of the blood.

This is all in the lung.

it also has adapted to relese a deadly neuro toxin when threatened by the kidney for its lunch money.

it does this onvoluntarily which is really annoying becuase you kill your self without even choosing to. this takes quite a while to kill you.

Many people have found the effects it does but are to arrogant to see the truth and just say that it is smoking that has caused it but smoking does no damage it was in fact the neuro toxin.
