I believe peoples views on gay marriage is based on a system of control. For hundred of years people have been trying to control other people. Religion is another type of control. But in the subject of gay marrage I believe it is a way for people to control what they think is moraly right. Although they contradict themselvses throughout the subject itself. If ones right is freedom of religion and the fight against gay marriage is religous based it is already against ones rights of choice. Although one may not believe in god somehow god controls the gay marriage argument. People against gay marriage are usually but not limited to people of religion. As stated before people have been trying to control others lives for many years.. wars based on lies. The truth is .. is that a long time ago a woman who could please another woman was viewed as a saint because in that time the way to heaven and spirituality was through sex with a woman. In conclusion of my opinion I believe peoples opinion on gay marriage is ill informed and ill advised. Its as bad as chickens running around with no head. Spineless and mindless these empty vessels do whatever a man with control says to do and to believe.

Many psychologists support same-sex marriage as a way to promote equality, reduce stigma, and support the well-being of individuals in same-sex relationships. They argue that legalizing same-sex marriage can have positive effects on mental health by promoting social acceptance and fostering greater social support for same-sex couples. However, there may be some psychologists who hold different views based on personal beliefs or values.

very controversial, some psychologists support homosexual activity, while other psychologists believe it is not natural, but doesn't mean they condemn homosexuals and disrespect them either. As for our children growing up in American, I still think it is important to teach them their is differences between boys and girls, BIOLOGICALLY, there always will be! But we are all have equal rights. No matter how much we try to change America's thinking, we are born either a MALE or a FEMALE. We produce children with ONLY a female and a male, and no matter how much scientific machinery that comes out to help the production of process of children, we require sperm and a egg, so therefore we need men and a woman, mothers and fathers around creating children. Having a mother and a father in a child;s life is very important, because men and woman are biologically different they both bring important things to raising children, emotionally, physically, and mentally. So if two men are raising a young child, doesn;t mean they won;t be loving of that child, protect the child or give the child some of its needs and wants, but they still will be lacking that maternal instinct, maternal affection which I know many mothers who would agree. Men can do a great job at raising kids, many single dads are out there doing there each day, but something is still always missing. If anything the government should not care if homosexuals want to marry, the main concern is children. The government should be focusing more attention on helping families, doing something about all these "dead beat" fathers running around our Country, not supporting their children emotionally, physically or mentally, and doing something about keeping families together and helping families because there is many difficulties in our society with poverty issues, children having EITHER parents in their lives

or

Did you mean "How are their views on marriage?" and by that, whose views are you asking about?

or

Are you asking individual answer-givers their specific views?:

1. trust with your life,

2. trust sharing funds responsibly,

3. to know what your wishes, desires, wants, needs are if you cannot speak for yourself

4. trust not to share their body with other people so sexually transmitted diseases do not run rampant

5. be able to make and/or share a child with

6. know they will not abuse your children, family, or pets

7. know they support your goals and functions in society

8. share and help obtain mutual goals

Do teenagers have the same views on marriage as their parents?

not many people have the same veiws of life as their parents, partially because they are from two differnet generations in which some things that never used to be socially acceptable are now, especially not marriage. MY parents tell me to wait until i am at least 25 but when i think about it i would be ready for marriage and a family at the age of 21. watever you choose just make sure its a wise choice. although nowadays marriage is taken for granted and it is far to easy to get a divorce.

Why is marriage weaker today because women are rejecting patriarchal relationships?

Maybe it's because some men keep trying to enforce antiquated and unrealistic views of women in society. Instead of viewing them as subservient and secondary, marriage might strengthen if it's viewed as a partnership.
