How big is the baby and what does it weight when I'm 24 weeks pregnant?

after the gestational age of 12 weeks, all baby's develop at different rates. i would assume your baby would probably be between 1-2 pounds, but could be bigger or smaller based on your lifestyle (smokers have smaller babies) and health factors (women with diabetes have larger babies, women with IUGR (intra-uterine growth retardation - a medical condition where the baby's growth is restricted while in the womb) tend to have little infants. the best way to estimate the size of your infant is to have your doctor perform an ultrasound (keep in mind the ultrasound is not always accurate - it's just an estimate) hope this helps.
