Scientists today think that the Brachiosaurus' best - and probably only - defense was simply its size, which made it too big to attack for almost all predatory saurians. The biggest among those, like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, were very probably more scavengers than hunters anyway. The Brachiosaurus' tail was too short and too inflexible to act as a whip and its head and teeth were only good for eating leaves. Its weight would probably have allowed it to kill an attacker by stamping on it with its front legs, but we simply have no idea if the Brachiosaurus ever actually got involved in fights with other animals. Very probably it was mostly left alone by the others.
