Monstro was the whale who swallowed Pinnochio and also Geppetto.
When he tried to save his father, a whale named Monstro killed him. But he turned into a real boy when he got home.
No he was not but the whale that swallows Geppetto, Figaro, and Cleo during their search for Pinocchio.
IN the Movie it said that he was a WHALE of a WHALE! I bet that means that he ate lots of fish and anything else he came across. for example, remember wen they came out of the whale? The whale chase them! Also wen geppeto said "hooo... That will make him mad". If you want MORE proof and see what kind of whale Monstro is, then watch the movie! a killer whale/beluga whale hybrid
Yes. It could not happen. Life does not arise from non-life- a basic principle of Biology. Up to a point Pinocchio crosses the Frankenstein and Jonah and the Whale plot lines ( called Monstro in the cartoon-and oddly, in the book, originaly a dogfish- a Shark!
Monstro was the whale who swallowed Pinnochio and also Geppetto.
Yes, for a brief period of time Pinocchio lived inside of the whale Monstro. He was swallowed when he tried to save his father Gepetto who was trapped in the whale.
The whale which appears in the 1940 animated film, Pinocchio, is Monstro. Monstro swallows Geppetto, Figaro, and Cleo when they are searching for Pinocchio. Later, he also swallows Pinocchio. The whale in the 1883 book, The Adventures of Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi, is called Il Terribile Pescecane or The Terrible Dogfish.
Yes, Pinocchio did tickle the whale that swallowed his father. In the scene when Pinocchio swam in the ocean and when he realized the whale named Monstro swallowed his father Pinocchio dove jumped of a cliff and dove into the ocean. Pinocchio did tickle the whale.
Pinocchio. an obvious take off on the Biblical Jonah and the Whale.
When he tried to save his father, a whale named Monstro killed him. But he turned into a real boy when he got home.
A whale of a fine choice! My Old man was a whaling buff, having read over 200 books having some connection with Whales and Whaling so I can lean on his experience. Monstro the Whale in Pinocchio , while wholly a fictional character seems to be from the looks of things based on the Sperm Whale which is the largest of the toothed whales and also the main protagonist of Moby Dick. The whale incident is obviously inspired by the Biblical tale of Jonah and the Whale One is reminded of a l904 parody song confusing the Biblical whale tale with the then modern subway emergency brake. (Jonah was a fisherman, so the Bible tell, hitched across the ocean on a Transatlantic Whale, the whale was going faster than Jonah thought was best, Jonah pulled the handle down, the whale did the rest! More seriously it can be argued the Collodi tale(Pinocchio ) is an amalgam of Jonah- certainly the whale episode-though inthe novel originally a dogfish( a shark), and Frankenstein, the old idea of artificial life, which generally runs amuck.
travel somewhere with your gummi ship and monstro the whale will come flying(YES I MEANT FLYING) and eat you,TADAH eu ended up inside the whale that swallowed pinocchio
Theres a whale in pinocchio?
artificial life running amok- a morality gap- sort of Frankenstein ( much older) toned down for kids- with the Monstro the Whale ( originally a shark in the novel!) borrowed from the Biblical tale of Jonah.
Correct. In the original novel it was an unnamed Dogfish- a species of Shark!
No he was not but the whale that swallows Geppetto, Figaro, and Cleo during their search for Pinocchio.
