Depending on how they advertise the information can lead to confusion. For example you could advertise "Tomatoes are good for your heart because of vitamin X" when in fact "X" is not the correct vitamin in a tomato but vitamin "Y" is. For that reason improper research on the information advertised can cause misinformation to the people buying or using the product.
